TinTops Complement? Today I received a call by an Administrator from the Classic Sports Car Club, host of the TinTops race at Cadwell Park. They had complaints by other competitors claiming that I was not running the original 1905cc 8-valve engine in my car, that I was driving too fast for an 8-valve engine. Upon realising that I was running the original engine in my car the Administrator of the CSCC said they would inform the other competitors I did not have an illegal engine and they would just have to except I was a faster driver! September 6th:... TinTops Race 4 - Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire I was longing to drive this track and dredding it at the same time. I last visited Cadwell Park in Sept 2006 for a track day. It was glorious weather and track day enthusiasts tend to look after their cars not see where the limits of adhesion lies. This time however, I was racing and it chucked it down with rain on the Friday night and Saturday morning. Amand and I, as usual, parked up very casual and Faulty Towers like... Whereas there were motorhomes and well set up competitors, we pulled up in an old 4x4. For whatever reason... the rest of my report is not saving properly. I will re-type this for you another day.
