If it ain't dirty, I ain't interested!

 | | | | | | | | | | This is Paddy, a 1986 Nissan Pathfinder ST. Mechanically, Paddy is completely std and so features a Z24i engine. Modifications include a bull bar and snorkel and tinted windows. |
 | | | | | | | | | | This is the front cover of a 1988 brochure for the Australian spec. Nissan Pathfinder. |

 | | | | | | | | | | 17 Dec 08... 24hrs after collecting Paddy off the boat, he gets some new wheels |
 | | | | | | | | | | Looking at this 4x4, it's hard to believe it's 22 years old and in original condition! Paddy was built in October 1986. |
 | | | | | | | | | | This is a 1986 interior. By today's standard it's very flimsy. But, soon all the interior will be removed and new sound insulation installed all around so that it's quiet and sounds solid. |

 | | | | | | | | | | The engine from the other side. Travelling at 70mph I've calculated i'm getting 24mpg from this engine. Not bad considering... |
 | | | | | | | | | | Another side shot of Paddy. This time you can see his Airtec snorkel. A useful item to have. |
 | | | | | | | | | | Final shot of Paddy's interior. I can't wait to get his new seats in. The old ones look ok but golly are they uncomfortable! |
 | | | | | | | | | | Paddy's new steering wheel. It's so nice to hold a wheel where the rubber doesn't turn around the rim when the wheel is in the straight ahead position! |
 | | | | | | | | | | One from a new pair of seats. New seats will help alot as the originals are now very uncomfortable. These are from a 1996 Honda Prelude. Now... if only I knew how to make the subframes to fit them. |
 | | | | | | | | | | As you can see, a strip down has begun. I'm tired of 'poo brown' interiors. So, dash out, all interior out and will arrive back in car when painted black. |
 | | | | | | | | | | You can see the new sound deadening in the door, on the outside an in. Nissan put none in. No wonder the car sounded like a tin can when on the move, closing doors and with the stereo on! |
 | | | | | | | | | | I'm doing for the back as I am for the front. Here shows 23yrs of grime on the outside of the panel... if only you saw the inside! Perhaps you're glad you can't!! |
 | | | | | | | | | | Here you can see the other side after plenty of meth. spirits. The silver you see is the new sound deadening material. It makes such a difference but I do think I'll put a second layer in. |
